Child Care South Africa is a registered community-based organisation that provides quality and comprehensive services to children living in Poverty. It was established in 2000 and for the past 23 years has grown from strength to strength working in rural areas of KwaZulu Natal. The organisation is governed by an active BOARD of Directors; it also has a director that manages operations of the organisation.

Our Vision
We strive to create a society where children and adolescents have the opportunities and encouragement to develop into responsible, self-sufficient adults who are able to contribute positively to society and break the cycle of poverty.

In 2007 we were awarded the Jet Community Award in the category WE CARE for KwaZulu Natal and again in 2008 we received a certificate of outstanding performance from the KwaZulu Natal MEC of Social Development Dr. M Radebe. This initiative fostered household dialogue around HIV/TB, improved support for HIV-positive patients, and contributed to achieving the UNAIDS strategy of 90-90-90 ahead of schedule in 2019.
