Cause Highlights
Helping vulnerable youth and community members develop the skills and confidence to resolve conflict peacefully through our experiential conflict transformation workshops and related programmes is what motivates us to press on despite financial limitations.
Through our work, I have witnessed participants move from feelings of anger, hopelessness, and division towards greater self-awareness, empathy, and constructive communication. Some young people who initially struggled with conflict have become peer models, demonstrating nonviolent approaches to problem-solving in their families, schools, and communities.
I’m also proud of our work in Elandskop, where we are building bridges between generations through dialogue and resilient building activities. Bringing together youth, parents, caregivers, and community leaders to listen to one another, address shared challenges, and strengthen relationships contributes to social cohesion and creates a foundation for lasting peace.
