LUNGISISA INDLELA VILLAGE (LIV)
LIV is home to more than 160 children, 36 trained foster mothers, living in 96 environmentally friendly homes. On its
premises, LIV has an Early Childhood Development Centre, Primary and High School, Health Care Centre, Owethu
Community Clinic, Social Services Department, Therapy Department, Administration, Finance and Marketing
Department, as well as the LIV Church and LIV Business. Some of LIV’s most recent achievements include the opening
of the LIV Culinary School, in association with the International Hotel School, and the opening of the LIV Welding Training
Centre. These ventures provide training and employment for the LIV children, as well as members of the local
Cottonlands community. At LIV, we believe that by providing children with unconditional love, care, nurturance, spiritual
discipleship and fulfilling their basic, physical needs, we can RESCUE a child, RESTORE a life, RAISE a leader, and RELEASE
a star.
LIV is a registered Non-Profit Organization (NPO) as defined in the Companies Act, 2008, with a Board of Directors
ensuring good governance, transparency and credibility.
