Colour Me Foundation is a grassroots, feminist-led non-profit organisation based in the North West Province of South Africa. Established in 2018 and registered as an NPC in 2021, we work to advance dignity, inclusion and economic participation for LGBTQIA+ people, young people and women living in rural communities and small towns. Through education, leadership development, entrepreneurship, advocacy and community engagement, we create opportunities for historically marginalised communities to thrive.

Cause Highlights
We are most proud of building a recognised grassroots movement that has reached more than 1,500 young people through education programmes, supported over 50 LGBTQIA+ entrepreneurs and creatives, hosted the North West’s first Rainbow Recognition Awards, and created safe, affirming spaces for thousands of people—all achieved largely through volunteer commitment and partnerships rather than formal funding. This demonstrates that community-led organisations can create meaningful, sustainable impact even with limited resources.
