If your nonprofit organisation would like to benefit from the Workplace for Good offering, you will need to follow the below steps to begin the sign-up process:
What is WorkPlace?
It is a fun and work-orientated Facebook for your organisation. Think of it as keeping your work life and social life separated and being able to still have your work colleagues as Facebook friends but not having to share all your intimate pictures and moments with them. If this is what you have been looking for then WorkPlace is the answer. Workplace for Good have made the premium license ($3usd per user per month) available to all Nonprofits for free.
You will need to scroll to the bottom of this screen, if this is your first visit, as you will need to create your account this time around:
Enter your work email address, and click on “Join Workplace for free”.
On the next page you will be prompted for a security code that was sent to the email address you provided:
Set up your profile after it has been confirmed and connect with your organisation:
You will then be able to create a group for your team:
Once you have created your Workplace group you can now start inviting your colleagues to join the group:
Once you have invited your colleagues to your group and saved their names and email addresses you are ready to use Workplace:
You will have a profile page very similar to your personal Facebook profile, except just dedicated to work purposes. 😊 You can then edit your profile by means of uploading a profile and cover picture or adding your personal details like your birthday, interests etc.
