Policy and legislation play a crucial role in combatting disinformation by establishing a framework to address its spread and impact. Our panelists Azola Dayile the Programme Manager of Advocacy, litigation, and lobbying at Media Monitoring Africa, and Tshepiso Hadebe, legal counsultant at PPM attorneys explored different approaches, policies, and strategies to address the spread of false information.
