1000 Women 1 Voice – Southern Africa
1000 Women 1Voice is a project of the 1000 Women Trust, a registered trust (IT838/2014) and fundraising awareness organization in South Africa
This app aims to provide a social platform for women across South Africa to share experiences in and discuss various topics such as entrepreneurship, health, relationships, safety, social issues and more.
The platform is run by and moderated by 1000 Women 1 Voice contractors and staff and is designed to be a safe space.
rAInbow – Southern Africa
Speaking to rAInbow is like speaking to a friend, says Kriti Sharma, leading global voice on ethical technology and founder of AI for Good. “Users can ask questions like, ‘My partner takes my money, what can I do?’, ‘He hits me, can you help me?’, and ‘My partner calls me abusive names, is this normal?’ rAInbow provides answers in friendly, simple language, and will guide victims in getting the help they need. To date, rAInbow has had over 50 000 active conversations.”
