Bullying was initially so<\/span><\/span>mething<\/span><\/span>\u00a0that happened in playgrounds at school, school buses and on the way to school for those kids\u00a0<\/span><\/span>who<\/span><\/span>\u00a0walked. This was probably just the only time a child experience<\/span><\/span>d<\/span><\/span>\u00a0bullying cause when they got home no one was harassing them<\/span><\/span>\u00a0anymore \u2013 the bully went home too<\/span><\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>However, with the popularity of the internet<\/span><\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span><\/span>social media networks, online live streams, online gaming\u00a0<\/span><\/span>and more,\u00a0<\/span><\/span>bullying gained a whole new other meaning<\/span><\/span>.\u00a0 It<\/span><\/span>\u00a0turned from the traditional bullying we know\u00a0<\/span><\/span>into a<\/span><\/span>\u00a0giant beast we<\/span><\/span>\u00a0now<\/span><\/span>\u00a0know as cyberbullying<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What is Cyberbullying?<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n

Cyberbullying really<\/span><\/span>\u00a0is<\/span><\/span>\u00a0no different from the traditional bullying we\u00a0<\/span><\/span>were<\/span><\/span>\u00a0familiar\u00a0<\/span><\/span>with.\u00a0 The<\/span><\/span>\u00a0aim is still the same and that is to cause harm, emotional distress and\u00a0<\/span><\/span>embarrassment towards someone else. The only th<\/span><\/span>ing<\/span><\/span>\u00a0that set traditional bullying and cyberbullying apart is the fact that cyberbullying happens on a\u00a0<\/span><\/span>larger<\/span><\/span>\u00a0scale\u00a0<\/span><\/span>because of the access and vastness<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>of<\/span><\/span>\u00a0the internet and social online platforms<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
