When they practice reading a word, the app will show them if the word was read correctly by making it green.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Understand Words<\/strong>: For non-native speakers of a language, Diya explains the meaning of a word or the sentence in the native language on tapping for help.\u00a0Languages supported at the time of writing this article: <em>English, Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, Urdu, Tamil, Telugu, Portuguese, Spanish<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read With Diya<\/strong>: Diya can read the entire sentence, highlighting each word as it\u2019s read so that the child can follow along.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Proactive Feedback<\/strong>: The app tracks the progress on the sentence and proactively offers support if it detects that the child is struggling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Choose from a large variety of engaging stories:<\/strong>&nbsp;The app comes preloaded with a large collection of engaging &amp; carefully selected stories, with new stories added over time. All the reading material on the app is completely free!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Enjoy as they learn:<\/strong>&nbsp;Children can also play interesting word games and earn in-app awards, helping reading become both fun and a daily habit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Personalised for each child:<\/strong>&nbsp;Multiple children can use the same app, and track their progress separately.
