Everyone has a voice and the right to use it. On Twitter, you should feel safe expressing your unique point of view with every Tweet \u2013\u00a0and it\u2019s our job to make that happen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But sometimes Tweets can cross a line\u00a0and are abusive or threatening. To keep you safe, we build tools so you can control what you see and who you interact with; work with a community of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/about.twitter.com\/en_us\/safety\/safety-partners.html\">online safety experts<\/a>\u00a0to fight abuse everywhere; and develop and enforce policies to prohibit abusive behaviour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Twitter&#8217;s Safety Principles<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>On Twitter, you should feel safe expressing your unique point of view with every Tweet. We want everyone to discover a wide variety of voices and perspectives, and for that reason we allow strong opinions and controversial views. So it\u2019s our job to make your experience as safe as we can. But if you do experience abuse or harassment on Twitter, that can jeopardise your freedom of expression. We won\u2019t let Twitter be a place where you are intimidated, harassed, or silenced.<br><br>Here are the principles that guide us in creating a culture of trust, safety, and respect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Twitter stands for freedom of expression for everyone.<\/li><li>We do not take sides. We show sides. INACH is a Twitter Trust &amp; Safety Council Member. <\/em><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Child Protection<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li> <em><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ecpat.net\/\" target=\"_blank\">ECPAT<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/@ECPAT\" target=\"_blank\">\u200e@ECPAT\u200e<\/a> an international NGO network solely dedicated to the fight against sexual exploitation of children. It provides a mobile way for students to look out for each other on campus when going out for the night. Circle of 6 is a Twitter Trust &amp; Safety Council Member. <\/em><\/li><li><em><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.inhope.org\/gns\/home.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">Inhope<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/@INHOPE_PR\" target=\"_blank\">\u200e@INHOPE_PR\u200e<\/a> is an active and collaborative global network of hotlines addressing illegal online content and child sexual abuse from the Internet via anonymous reports.
