We have had recent conversations with our partners and donors with regards to the International decisions that have been made for staff travel, hosting of public events and health-safety precautions relating to the COVID-19 Virus.
As much as we don’t want to kneejerk, and we have had no confirmed cases of anybody in our areas that have contracted the virus, we wish to be proactive and assist our partners and donors by taking every precaution necessary.
Kindly note that all March, April and May 2020 NetSquared South Africa face-to-face events have been cancelled.
Being a tech-solution-based organisation and the leader in South Africa for providing NGOs like yours with solutions in times of need, we have decided to implement the below:
All face-to-face NetSquared events that have been cancelled will be replaced with a digital campaign: #NET2SAGoesDigital (NetSquared South Africa Goes Digital)
Starting 16 March 2020, our NetSquared South Africa partners will provide you, our valuable nonprofit clients, with the resources and tools that were to be presented at our face-to-face events, digitally, in our dedicated online community:
We will also be providing the digital content in various forms to assist nonprofits that have limited access to data or WIFI connections. Some of the digital formats include:
- Blog Articles – http://www.netsquaredsouthafrica.phambano.org.za/blog
- Twitter Posts and Threads – https://twitter.com/TechSoupSAfrica
- Instagram Stories and Live Videos – https://www.instagram.com/phambanotech
- LinkedIn Posts – https://www.linkedin.com/company/phambanotech
During this campaign we invite you to engage with our NetSquared partners and ask questions, activate the free tools and work through the content at your own pace!
Should you have any questions, please contact us here.
