Hearts of Hope has been in operation since 2003, having begun as a group of volunteers in 1997. In 2003 we opened our doors to our first children’s home in Wendywood Johannesburg for 6 children. Hearts of Hope has grown to a home of 52 children.
We have 4 properties, and each property is divided into family homes with a House Mother and 7 children. Since 2008, over 200 children have lived in the home. With our success at adoption and reunification, an average of 60 children are cared for per annum.
