We are back again with another Instagram Challenge for all South African-based Nonprofit Organisations for the month of March. It’s the 31-day Instagram Challenge second round for 2019. Let’s snap, post and share.
This is how its going to work
Similar to what we have done before; we have created a 31-day prompt list (below) which has been designed to help spark your creativity. Use the prompts to design an Instagram post for each day and include the challenge hashtag on all posts: #SANPONETWORK
Why is it important that you must use the password
Once you have added the #SANPONETWORK hashtag to your post, other users in the challenge will be able to find your post and engage with it. This is done by clicking on the hashtag while logged in to Instagram. When doing so, a separate feed will show, featuring all challenge photos, pretty cool hey ;).
Why does this work?
When people engage with your posts on Instagram (comments or likes), your account becomes more visible to new people on Instagram. Overall, by increasing your activity on Instagram you will be rewarded with new engagement and visibility thus allowing you to share your cause with a new audience!
When does the #SANPONETWORK Instagram Challenge commence ?
Any time is tea time as the Brits would say. It is totally up to you. At Phambano will start following/engaging with the hashtag #SANPONETWORK from tomorrow (March 1st, 2019) and will commence with the challenge on Tuesday the 5th of March 2019.
- Be present
Make sure your Instagram Account is set to public – if it is set to private, challenge participants won’t be able to engage with your posts. Don’t feel pressurised to post every day. The challenge has been designed to help you create relevant/engaging content and to increase your activity on Instagram. Like other challenge participants’ posts, engage with them by commenting and follow relevant accounts.
Download the challenge prompt image below to keep it handy on your desk as an everyday reminder.
